Furry Little Paw
My parents’ cat Harris has really furry paws. We were worried about him running and sliding into the walls, which he does. He won’t let us trim them.

New Kitten!
My parents’ first official adoption and first kitten in 17 years. He was a humane society kitten who was being fostered by a local store (complete with incense and “water pipes) and we fell in love.
My parents lost 2 cats in the past 6 months so I thought it was time for my mom to get a new companion, and a friend for their other cat Harris.

He smelled like incense when they first got him.
He isn’t integrated into the house yet (Maya the black cat already hates him-Maya is my cat and she is just living with my parent for this school year) but he’s a very curious boy and I look forward to seeing how he and Harris get along.

Loyal to the End
This video is really sad but it just shows the strength of the human-animal bond. Navy SEAL Jon Tumilson was killed in Afghanistan on August 6th and his dog attended the funeral. You can see the dog in front of the casket in the video.
